People will probably be tired of me writing this; but yes, it has been really a long time since I have posted anything in here.
The truth is, I did log in here and wrote some of the things that I needed to get out of my head, but in the end, they became drafts and I deleted most of them already. I do not plan to post them up anyway, and I am being more reserved with what I wrote.
I assume most of you guys out there have been reading
and updating yourselves with MH370 issues. Long story short, MH370 departed from Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA) at 12.41 at midnight on 8 March 2014 and was scheduled to land in Beijing Capital International Airport at 6.30 in the morning on the same day. According to the media, the plane went missing less than one hour after the take off. Recently, the Prime Minister of Malaysia, Dato' Najib announced that the missing plane had ended in the southern Indian Ocean. There was a total of 227 passengers and 12 cabin crew members on board, and the news had reported that there might be no survivors.
You may Google for more detailed news about the missing flight.
Anyway, I wish everyone would stop making theories and assumptions about the
disappearance of MH370 flight. It’s been more than three weeks since it disappeared, and there are a lot of people out there who keep on making ludicrous speculations about it. They were so bogus that I cannot help but feeling disgusted after reading them. I have to admit, some of the theories are very thoughtful and something to be pondered upon, but most of them are just trashes and not worth reading at all.
Also, I find them very disrespectful to the victims and their families. I mean, have they not think about the feelings of the families who just lost their loved ones as they are making up stories? Have they not put themselves in the others' shoes and think before even writing anything? Do they even sit back, reflect, and ask themselves, "What if this happen to me instead?" Honestly speaking, I do not understand what are these people even trying to prove here.
This questions also go to people who do not have the sympathy to the passengers, cabin crew members and their families and make stupid remarks and comments through their Twitters and Facebook statuses. I do not know which one is worse - reading the theories or the immature comments. At the same time, I do not know which one is stupider - the group of people who make up theories out of their "brilliant" minds or the group of people who choose to believe them blindly and share them in all social networks possible.
I never know there are a lot of aviation experts and air crash investigators out there.
Apart from that, why does EVERYTHING has to do with politics? Almost every single thing that happens in Malaysia has to be politicised. Okay, so Captain Zaharie was a big supporter of Anwar Ibrahim. The day before the plane went missing, Anwar Ibrahim was found guilty by the court for sodomy and was sentenced to five years in jail. So people were making smart conclusion that he decided to take his revenge to a whole new level - by hijacking the plane and ran off somewhere secluded and unknown, bringing all the innocent passengers and cabin crew members with him.
It is so unfair to the captain and his families when they cannot defend themselves, because one; we do not even know half of the things that actually happened on the plane, I mean - he might be one of the unsung heroes who tried to reach the airport traffic control but could not, maybe because there were problems in communication. It is not an easy job when you are the captain; you are basically have to be responsible of everything that is happening on the flight. If there is something wrong with the flight, you are putting your life, and the passengers' lives on the line. I am sure the captain knows what does being professional means; personal feelings aside, for or against the government, do your job well. If that is not hard enough, I do not know what to say. Two; for the love of God, HE HAS A FAMILY.
If any of you guys out there do not have anything good to say, at least keep your mouth quiet and have some respect on the families who are affected. You do not need to read a book to figure that out.
Or take this incident as a lesson. I have said this countless of times, things happen for a reason. Maybe it is time for us to sit back, and reflect about this unfortunate incident. If any of us do not have a healthy relationship with our families, start having healthy relationship with them because we do not know when are we seeing them for the last time. If any of us do not have a good relationship with God, start doing so today. After all, He is the only one that we can depend on in times of despair.
Oh, another one. Less than two weeks ago, I watched news about the missing flight by Astro Awani on Youtube. It was an interview about a woman who was supposedly departed to China to study on the day it disappeared, but missed the flight and changed the ticket to the next day instead.
I scrolled down and read the comments about the interview, and I was so surprised. Instead of saying things like, "God bless you girl." or "You are so lucky!", people were arguing about why the interview was made in English instead of Malay. People were writing comments like, "Why is the girl speaking in English? Doesn't she know how to speak Malay?" So what if the interview was made in Chinese or any other languages even? It's not like you people out there do not understand English, and there will be subtitles prepared when the interviews are conducted in other foreign languages. I do not understand, the main point of the interview was pushed aside just because people were discussing about petty stuffs.
The stupidity of people. Sometimes, it astonishes me.
